"Murder on the Orient Express" Agatha Christie
Description
One of Agatha Christie’s most famous mysteries, Murder on the Orient Express was inspired by two real-life crimes and the author’s own experience being stranded on the Orient Express during Christmas of 1931. While traveling to Paris, a wealthy American is stabbed to death in his cabin on the Orient Express. With the train stuck in a snowdrift, there is no easy escape for the killer. Fortunately, detective Hercule Poirot is aboard and launches a clever investigation into the curious assortment of passengers, of whom each seems to have a motive.
You can find the book on Amazon for about $10.00, but I am sure you can find for less in paperback. It is also probably found in your local library.
Ok, So I have finished the book and I really enjoyed it. I love the twist in it. Although I saw it coming. :) It was nice to read something that I would not have picked up on my own. :) Jared dosen't have time to read it right now. He is read 3 novels for his History class and I think 3-4 novels for his English class. He tried to read it but only got about 30 pages into it.

I have tried to read Agatha Christie before, but couldn't get past her language style, but I have to admit that I was able to get through this one. I really enjoyed the book and yes, much like Camberly saw the ending coming.
ReplyDeleteIn listening to the book it was obvious it was written on the feminin style. Although there were twist and turns the end was predictable.
